Replay Media Splitter 2.2

Replay Media Splitter Editor's Review

The producer claims that this software is an easy audio and video file editor. "You can learn to edit like a pro in no time". This software should be an easy-to-use media splitter. It doesn't support many file types, but it should. The supported formats are AVI, WMV, ASF, WMA, and MP3, or at least those are supposed to be. I tested these file types, but it only worked with WMV and MP3 files. When I tried to import the other file types, a message popped up telling me that the 'Source file is not supported or damaged'. However, I could play all the files with my video players, so they weren't damaged.

According to the producer, this program is great for beginners. The help file is only available online and I had to read it to understand how to work with the timeline. That feature is hard to use, especially if you use video files. No features offer you a description about themselves on mouse-over, making this program one of the most difficult programs to use.

The user interface is not easy to use. You have to read the help file, if you want to know how to use this program.

Drawbacks / flaws: Very difficult to use. The program doesn't work with most of the files that it should support.

In conclusion: I look forward for the next release hopping that it will work. In the meantime, I don't recommend you to download it.
